I created this painting to reflect God creating life. I was amazed at the complex meaning and spirituality behind this painting when my future daughter-in-law and her 7 year-old son visited me on Mother's Day. I had the painting sitting on the easel and Charlie said it looked like DNA (not something you would think a 7 year-old would even know about). Then I turned the painting long ways, like I had actually painted it, and Lindsey said it looked like a baby in the womb. Wow, this totally astonished me. What a great God we serve who can create a precious life, a baby...beautifully and wonderfully made by God's own Hands. How magnificent is that! And, just in case you missed the connection, it all came together for me on Mother's Day.
